What is Anta?
Anta is a boutique, audiophile psychedelic festival capped at 500 people. It began in Portugal and comes to Israel for the first time in 2026: three days of uncompromising sound and art in the open desert.
When and where does it happen?
26 to 28 November 2026 (Thursday to Saturday), at Isaac's Khan in Hatzeva, in the Arava desert of southern Israel: open desert, quiet, and a sky full of stars.
How many people will be there?
Around 500, and that's a hard cap. At that size the festival feels like a gathering, and the faces around you turn familiar fast.
What does it sound like?
The range is wide, from psychedelic trance (Zenon, Psytech, DarkPsy) to heavy bass (dubstep, 140, drum & bass). The through-line is one bar of sound design at the leading edge of the scene. The full list lives on the program page.
I'm travelling from abroad. Is Anta for me?
Absolutely. Anta is an international gathering with roots in Portugal and a community that crosses borders. Wherever you are coming from, there is a place for you here, and you will be at home in English.
What language is spoken?
Hebrew and English. English will carry you through the whole weekend with no trouble, on site and with us before you arrive.
How do I get there?
The Arava is in southern Israel. The main gateway is Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, and the site is a drive south from there. Detailed directions and travel tips go out to ticket holders closer to the event.
Do I need a visa?
It depends on your nationality. Check your government’s guidance for visiting Israel before you book, and give yourself time. If in doubt, reach out and we will point you in the right direction.
When do tickets go on sale?
On 1 August 2026. Sales open in waves, each wave at its own price: the earlier you buy, the lower the price. Join the mailing list and you'll know the moment it happens.
How do I pay?
Tickets are sold in Israeli shekels (ILS) through our ticketing partner, and major cards are accepted.
Can I cancel a ticket?
Yes. Up to a month before the event you get 90% back, up to three weeks 80%, and up to two weeks 50%. And if life gets complicated, you can always write to us.
Can I sleep on site?
Yes. The Khan has rooms and tents on site, plus a set of tipi tents as a paid add-on. Booking opens together with tickets, and prices are shared with the sale.
What is the weather like, and what should I bring?
Late November in the Arava means warm, bright days and genuinely cold desert nights. Bring layers, a warm sleeping setup, and sun cover for the day.
I'm an artist, performer or maker. How do I get involved?
We open application forms in rounds, for musicians, performers, visual artists, workshops, volunteers and vendors. The forms are closed right now, and the mailing list hears first when the next round opens. In the meantime, a short email telling us who you are and what you make is always welcome.
